To apply for a loan with us you need to be:

1. 18+ years old
2. A UK resident
3. Income £400+ (salary & benefits)
4. Valid Bank Card
5. UK Bank Account

In some cases you may also need to provide us with:

1. Proof of address
2. Proof of income
3. Proof of ID

Unlike many short-term lenders we at Oakam look at your individual circumstances, which mean that we may lend to you even if you have:

• Been turned down for credit before
• Have recently moved to the UK
• Are self employed
• Had CCJs in the past

As a responsible lender we are not able to help you if you are:

• In debt management
• Bankrupt or have an IVA
